The turning point of the piece is a section for the viola section alone. It is divided into eight separate parts, and effect is one of being submerged into the red heat of blood. Before this point, however, a large section of much variation has exposed and then expelled are number of events whose characteristics are strictly defined for each parameter. These ‘entities’ are put together unaltered, and then gradually changed in their characteristics. The intensity of the developing drama is due to this process of altering, which in turns leads into the section with the violas, and then to a section in a slow and easy flow.

In the final section, a succession of ‘zones’ are distributed. These zones are spots where energy is concentrated and which gestures and collections of events head for and are transformed by. The resulting continuum of different rhythms in progressive transition was calculated mentally in order to deal with the process with more flexibility. These zones are squeezed as the piece towards the end.
