Played a solo gig at the NOW now Series in Serial Space, Sydney Monday 26. The reaction was very strong, and after the concert Mike Majkowsky and I agreed to play a short set at Mick’s combined barbershop, gallery and performance space Sedition on Victoria Street, Darlinghurst, Sydney on the following Wednesday 28. The set turned out to be very focused and with a clear formal outlay with quick and subtle response between us. Oh – and I should definitely mention that that Kim Myhr performed with a marvelous trio at the Serial Space concert as well as a duo that opened, with the audience responding immediately and with enthusiasm to all acts.
